Spring 2008 Graduation

The Spring 2008 D.A.R.E. Graduation will be held Thursday, May 1 at Columbus East High School Auditorium. Columbus East Senior Kendall Yeaton gave a musical performance at 6:00 PM. The graduation ceremony will begin at 6:30.

Yeaton has been performing original songs in south central Indiana for the past five years. He is currently working on a CD entitled “The Light” to be released soon.

Families of local 6th-graders who participated in DARE this semester are invited to attend the graduation. Winners of the DARE essay contest will be recognized on stage and several winners will read their DARE essays.

Door prizes will be given at the close of the event. Winners will take home portable radios and CD players, sleeping bags, bicycles, and many other great prizes.

Other 6th-graders enrolled in 07-08 participated in DARE in the Fall semester and celebrated graduation in December, 2007.
