D.A.R.E. Family Night at Texas Roadhouse

Family Day – A Day to Eat Dinner with Your Children™ – A national initiative to remind parents that what your kids really want at the dinner table is YOU!

On Monday, September 24th join us for an evening of fun at Texas Roadhouse. Your DARE officers and Andy Armadillo will join you and your family to celebrate family dining!

  • Parents and kids can visit with DARE Officers and get information about the DARE program, as well as info about how to help kids avoid drugs & violence.

Face painting and games will make this a dinner night to remember for kids! Andy Armadillo will be giving away a boy's bicycle and a girl's bicycle and other prizes.

According to The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, children of families who regularly dine together:

  • Are less likely to smoke, drink or use drugs
  • Are more likely to get better grades
  • Are more likely to confide in their parents.

Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of the evening's profits to the DARE program. Invitations are being distributed through BCSC schools and can also be downloaded and printed right here. (Requires Adobe Reader to view - if you need FREE Abobe Reader click here).
